WEEK 4

This week, we had a presentation for the updates for the project based on each team, with the whole CSI class, which means including semester 3 and 4. As the project manager and the leader for the sponsorship team, me and Darren had to make sure that the presentation was prepared by creating a powerpoint slides for all the team (finance, stationary, books, furniture, paint) in the sponsorship team to put their information in. Whilst the presentation, I also had to take notes down for the rest of the groups from the feedback of our lecturers. The presentation was based on what we have done so far and what we are planning to do next.

As of this week, we have collected several number of books and stationaries already, already received 1500 sponsors for furniture, 5 bean bags received already and have confirmed a sponsor for paint. Overall, I think the progress that we have done for the sponsorship team is good but we still need to collect more books and stationery and get more sponsors for furniture.

After our presentation was done, we also had to listen to the other presentations from the other groups in the semester 3 and 4. From their presentation, we know now what colour scheme the library will have, what type of murals and wall designs will be included in the space, what type of learning games will have that will be placed on the walls. Having us present infront of each other with the rest of the CSI group actually really helped us because we now know what the design of the space will be so it is easier for us, furniture team, to find and purchase furniture which suits the design of the space.
