Blue Morpho Butterfly (Detail Drawing & Visual Note)

Continuing with the previous project about butterflies, we then had to choose a difference species of butterfly/moth; I choose to do about 'blue morpho butterfly'. This time, we had to do two detailed drawing of our insect, and three detailed zoom in drawings. I enjoyed doing this assignment because I had plenty of time to do the drawing very detailed that at the end, I am actually very proud of the work. I am most proud of the two detailed drawing of the whole insect because there are different line weights and shadows in the drawing.

The other part of the assignment was to do a visual note of our chosen butterfly species and draw the facts that we find when we research about the butterfly. I researched about the butterfly's characteristics, diet, habitat and reproduction. I liked doing this research because I found out a lot more information about butterflies than I already know, especially very interesting facts I never knew about. Doing the visual note itself was fun because I liked drawing but it was difficult too because I had to be creative on drawing the facts instead of writing them. At the end, I think this visual note I have done was better than the group one I did because this one I had a good layout and I planned it.
